Dr. lincoln H. douglas:

Dr. douglas recently was on contract with the Government of Grenada at the Agency For Reconstruction and Development as a Training Specialist; designing, developing and delivering training for the redevelopment of Grenada after the hurricanes.

He has also worked in the Office of the Prime Minister Social Services Delivery in the EU-Sponsored Poverty Reduction Programme as a Senior Project Officer.

He has worked at the Community Development Fund of the Ministry of Community Development as a Technical Consultant.

He continues to work as the director of his own company dADI Consulting where he designs and provides training and development workshops for companies, institutions, NGOs and communities in need of development.

He is a lecturer.

He has worked In various organizations in the U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago as a director, as an executive director working in areas such as:

  • Alcohol, drugs and violence, prevention and intervention
  • Mental health
  • Cultural competence
  • Youth leadership and development
  • Life Skills
  • Radio and Television

Educational Background:

Dr. douglas holds a Doctorate in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University with special emphasis in:

  • Community development, cultural and political studies.
  • He has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in; Arts Entertainment and Media Management from Columbia College in Chicago and,
  • Bachelor of Arts degrees in Christian Education and Mass Communication from Wheaton College, Wheaton Illinois, and an
  • Advance Leadership Certificate from Haggai Institute Singapore.

Dr Douglas also has training certifications from various organizations, including: The National Multicultural Institute (NMCI), The Center for the Application of Prevention Technology (CAPT), North American Simulation and Gaming Association (NASAGA) and, Rockhurst University in Leadership Counselling and Mentoring.

Areas of specialization and interests include: keynote motivational speaker, educator, poet, he makes and plays African drums, a recording artist, poet and storyteller, youth leader.
